Bangalore Palace

Bangalore Palace was built in 1862 and was based upon Windsor Castle. The castle and it’s stunning grounds are now open to the public as a tourist attraction. The grounds are a popular venue for live music, particularly rock concerts so be sure to check what’s on when you visit. Entry is quite pricey and you have to pay to take photos so bear that in mind before you go.

 

M. Chinnaswamy Stadium

If you are a fan of India’s number one sport cricket then a visit to this vast stadium is essential. Home of the Royal Challengers Bangalore be sure to visit in May to catch some of the Indian Premier League, the World’s number one Twenty20 competition. Previous stars to have worn the Royal’s shirt include New Zealand captain Daniel Vettori, South African AB de Villiers and West Indian legend Chris Gayle.
