Experiences are absolutely everything and getting the right ones is something that isn’t easy. You definitely can’t force an experience to be good, but if you give yourself a magical backdrop, then the possibilities are endless. Today I am going to talk a bit more about some of the best things that you can experience on this planet, and these should definitely be a part of the world’s 50 greatest travel bucket list. Getting to the top of the Empire State Building
New York City is a stunning place and the sheer size of it is something to marvel at. You don’t really get a sense of this from walking around, but once you climb to the top of the Empire State Building you will definitely see why. You can see a vast horizon that is filled with skyscrapers and the world famous Central Park, and the contrast between the two seems so unusual. This is one of my favourite places on the planet to view from above and the Empire State Building is the right place to do it.
Walking through the streets of Rome
Rome is wonderful and the rich history and culture of it gives it an edge as one of the finest cities on the planet. I love that you can be walking around and see ruins that are thousands of years old and that you have probably never heard about. Rome just keeps surprising you at every corner, and this doesn’t just mean the buildings and history, but also the stunning food there. Fill yourself up with the best pizza, pasta and gelato that you have ever eaten, it truly is amazing.
Driving the Great Ocean Road
This is one of my most favourite places to drive on the entire earth and I am not sure that anything comes close to the natural beauty of driving this 200 kilometre stretch of road. There is quite literally something to see at every bend in the coastline, whether it be a waterfall or forest along the way or the stunning 12 Apostles, this is truly one of the places that you need to drive along and say that you did it.
